Paradis Hotel And Golf Club

If you are seeking a luxury hotel in Mauritius, full of activities yet set on luxurious beaches, with calm waters, then the Paradis Hotel and Golf Club in Mauritius could be exactly the resort for you. Set on Le Morne Peninsula in the South West of the Indian Ocean Island of Mauritius, the Paradis is renowned for it?s extensive range of luxurious and spacious accommodation. There is a wide variety of rooms and suites, plus 12 exclusive villa?s, all set along an endless strip of golden beach, gently sloping into the Indian Ocean.

Just about the whole of Mauritius is surrounded by a coral reef, therefore the beaches are all bathed by gently lapping waters, while the waves break on the reef in the distance. The setting of Paradis is stunning, with the Indian Ocean in front, and the majestic Le Morne Mountain behind it. During a stay here you will really feel nestled in your own oasis of luxury.

The atmosphere at Paradis is vibrant, with guests enjoying a huge range of watersports, including water skiing, sailing, scuba diving, kayaking or simply snorkeling and swimming. Paradis is really well known for the fantastic 18 hole golf course located on its doorstep. There are a further 2 courses within 20 minutes, both offering championship 18 holes. Other land based sports include a fully equipped gymnasium and tennis courts.

If you love food, then you certainly won?t be disappointed with Paradis resort. There are endless dining options available not only at Paradis but also at the neighbouring Dinarobin Hotel. I would personally recommend the Blue Mariln for lunch, this relaxed restaurant overlooks the Indian Ocean so you can be ?kept amused? by the efforts of water skiers? and wake boarders! A particularly intimate yet vibrant restaurant is La Ravanne, which is located between the two resorts. The speciality is Creole food and entertainment. From the Paradis you take the speed boat, with the journey displaying the spectacular sight of Paradis Hotel at night, as you arrive, you are greeted by Sega Dancers, and a warming Mauritian beach bonfire. Throughout your meal you will hear the hedonistic rhythm of the Sega drum in the background, a spectacular backdrop to a superb meal.

The jewel in the crown of the Paradis accommodation is the spectacular Villas. These uniquely offer spacious accommodation of two or three bedrooms, lounge, decking and balconied, private kitchens and bar-b-que?s. All are very tastefully furnished with exquisite furniture both inside and out. You also have your own butler, available for service on cleaning, and preparing simple meals. Their service is first class, yet discrete!

The other accommodation is no less luxurious; there are a number of suites, and deluxe and superior rooms at the hotel, all overlooking the stunning Indian Ocean. I personally liked the upstairs rooms with their spacious private balconies, however the ground floor rooms, where you can step out of your room onto the beach are equally appealing.

All in all, a stay in a luxury hotel in Mauritius at Paradis will be hard to beat. Although the hotel is quite large, the spacious design, numerous pools, restaurants and bars, ensures that it never feels crowded, and enables you to have your own private intimate space if required.
