Golf Swing Training System Creator Awarded 2006 SCPGA of America Teacher of the Year Award
San Diego (PRWeb) December 11, 2006 -- John Darling, expert golf instructor and inventor of the Impact Master golf swing training system, has been awarded as Teacher of the Year for 2006 by the San Diego Chapter of the Southern California Section of the PGA of America, for his outstanding achievements in golf swing instruction. Using the Impact Master Training Club, Darling has taught countless golfers how to improve their golf swing power and gain consistency by avoiding the most common golf swing mistakes.
The major focus in all of Darling's teaching programs is to educate and train golfers about the importance of correct and consistent impact produced by their golf swings. Correct impact leads to consistency in trajectory control, distance control, and accuracy.
"Consistency is the number one request golfers have when they're looking for improvement, and consistency is directly linked to proper club impact with the ball," Darling said. "Most training aids miss the most important part of practicing golf: striking the ball and training your golf swing for correct impact. Golfers want to hit the ball, and Impact Master lets them train for a consistent golf swing doing just that."
According to Darling, a golfer's only feedback is typically the flight of the ball. On every fifth or sixth golf swing most golfers may make good contact but are unable to pinpoint what they've done differently to make that happen. The Impact Master Training Club and Learning System offers valuable feedback to golfers while honing their golf swing for consistency and accuracy and producing more power with correct impact.
Under the guidance of Darling's expertise, Impact Master has also designed a secondary product for improving golf swings called the Plane Master. This golf swing training attachment teaches the golfer how to keep the club on its correct swing plane and monitor how square the club remains throughout the golf swing process.
